Health and Safety Services

For more than a century, the American Red Cross has been saving lives with health and safety education programs. From first aid, CPR, AED (Automated External Defibrillation) and Bloodborne Pathogens training to swimming and lifeguarding to Babysitter's training, Red Cross programs help people lead safer and healthier lives.

The Polk County Chapter strives to provide quality programs to ensure a safer and healthier community for everyone.  Last year, our Chapter taught health and safety classes, as well as water safety to more than 900 individuals in our community.

Upcoming Health and Safety Training Classes are listed at right.

For more information on training available in our area, contact the Red Cross office at 828.894.2700.
